Appointments for adults and children above 10 last 50 minutes.   25 minute appointments are available for lifestyle advice without herbal medicine treatment. Appointments for children under 10 last 25 minutes.

Medicines are typically sent by post to the address of your choice.  A deposit for medicine containers is included in the postage and packing element of each invoice.  Patients return containers after use and are reimbursed for the containers, either as a reduction on a future invoice or with stamps.  Containers are sterilised and re-used as part of the environmentally-sustainable policy of this Practice.

Patients typically come back two weeks after the first appointment and the medicine is adjusted if appropriate.   The time between appointments becomes longer as soon as the person’s condition has started to improve. Patients on repeat prescriptions will be called for a three-monthly or six-monthly check-up, depending on severity of condition and on their overall health.  Patients who no longer need medicine may be given an emergency mix for occasional use.

Most conditions respond well to herbal medicines and lifestyle adjustments.  Children respond most quickly.  For adults with hormonal conditions it is important to allow three months to see a change.  As a general rule, the longer a patient has had a condition, the longer they are likely to need treatment for.
